There are no inmates on site at any time. Civeo Premium associates do not have any interaction with, nor access to, inmates.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">The Cook Chill Porter responsible for the accurate and efficient traying of meals on the assembly line while ensuring strict adherence to food safety, portion control, and hygiene standards. In this role, you will oversee proper meal assembly, assign tasks to associates, and ensure correct utensil use, portioning, and cleanliness throughout the process. You will also complete final meal counts for regular and special diets, including bulk meals, and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete prior to shipment.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p>Follow all company policies, procedures, and workplace health &amp; safety requirements, including PPE use, OHS, WHMIS, reporting incidents, and facility protocols</p></li><li><p>Assemble meals accurately according to Diet Assembly Sequence Worksheets and Meal Order Summary Sheets, ensuring correct portioning, cleanliness, and allergen control</p></li><li><p>Maintain clean, safe, and ergonomically set-up workstations; perform scooping, product handling, sanitizing, and line cleanliness per guidelines</p></li><li><p>Complete final meal counts and production records accurately to support shipment and operational needs</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members and perform duties according to assigned schedules, breaks, and production priorities</p></li><li><p>Perform additional duties as assigned</p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p>Experience in food production, institutional food service, or manufacturing is an asset</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for the shift</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a cold environment</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork</p></li><li><p>Ability to obtain required security clearances, including a criminal record check</p></li><li><p>Advanced Food Safety Training (FST) required within 90 days of hire</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Wage $20.30 per hour</p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Hours of work and schedules are based on operational requirements and are governed by the Collective Agreement. Overtime may be required.
