    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Vertiv is seeking a highly experienced and driven Engineering Construction Manager to oversee the execution of medium-scale data center infrastructure projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the on-site construction process, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, engineering documentation and timelines. This position demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of mission-critical infrastructure.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of projects from site preparation through commissioning for medium-scale data center projects; primarily for High Density Liquid Cooling Equipment and associated infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Vendor Management: Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and quality standards.</li>\n <li>Schedule Management: Monitor construction schedules, providing regular updates to stakeholders and taking corrective action as needed.</li>\n <li>Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work complies with company standards, client requirements, and applicable codes and regulations.</li>\n <li>Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage potential risks, safety issues, and design conflicts; implement mitigation strategies promptly.</li>\n <li>Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients on construction-related matters, fostering a professional relationship through clear communication and problem-solving.</li>\n <li>Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, punch lists, daily reports, and project closeout materials.</li>\n <li>Commissioning Support: Work with commissioning agents and Vertiv engineering teams to ensure systems are fully tested and operational before handover.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li>\n <li>7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 3 years focused on mission-critical or data center projects.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems and civil/structural construction.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to manage medium-scale construction projects with values exceeding $5M.</li>\n <li>Excellent knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, CX Alloy, Primavera, MS Project).</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. and remain on-site for extended durations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>PMP, CCM, or equivalent construction/project management certifications.</li>\n <li>Experience and/or knowledge with High Density Liquid Cooling in data center environments.</li>\n <li>Experience with prefabrication, modular builds, or fast-track construction methodologies.</li>\n <li>Previous experience working for or with Vertiv or similar data center infrastructure providers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What We Offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary and performance bonuses</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k)</li>\n <li>Professional development and career advancement opportunities</li>\n <li>Exposure to industry-leading, innovative data center solutions</li>\n <li>A mission-driven culture focused on reliability, sustainability, and excellence</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ol>\n <li>Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of five years equivalent practical management experience</li>\n <li>Computer literate with ability to utilize word processor and spreadsheet application software for written communications, reports, and financial analysis</li>\n <li>A working knowledge of basic accounting principles, with the ability to understand and apply business financial concepts</li>\n <li>Demonstrated administrative skills in decision making, organization and supervision</li>\n</ol>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Due to the safety sensitive aspect of the role, candidates are required to successfully pass a drug test prior to employment.
