    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary of Position</span></p>\n<p><br>A successful project manager will demonstrate effective leadership of project teams. Project managers<br>manage contract documents, subcontractor performance, vendor compliance, budgets, costs, safety,<br>profitability, and schedule. The ultimate goal for an IE2 project manager is to exceed customer<br>expectations to ensure enthusiastic, strong relationships that lead to future opportunities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties:</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, monitoring progress to<br>ensure the project is progressing in a timely and cost-effective manner<br>• Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs<br>• Maintain constructive relationships and communication with all project stakeholders<br>• Establish and coordinate overall project schedule<br>• Facilitate positive and effective project meetings<br>• Maintain and enhance profitability of projects<br>• Issue and monitor contracts (owner and subcontractors)<br>• Understand our accounting systems and principals of construction finances<br>• Understand all construction contract types<br>• Demonstrate a clear understanding of all paperwork including RFI’s, submittals, meeting minutes,<br>and change orders<br>• Maintain effective project financial controls<br>• Conduct project buyout<br>• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses<br>• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks<br>• Assist in development of new business by maintaining positive customer relationships<br>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience<br>• Expert knowledge of commercial construction management, including building products, safety<br>regulations, local and state building codes, general construction processes, practices and work<br>sites<br>• Strong skill to demonstrate and perform the above essential duties<br>• Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills to effectively communicate via<br>email, on the phone and in person<br>• Ability to effectively apply technology to perform job duties including familiarity with project<br>management software and construction accounting systems</p>\n<p>• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities<br>• Must have at least six (6) years of construction, architecture, or construction engineering<br>experience. Bachelor’s degree in construction related field.<br>• Possess above average analytical skills with the ability to read, interpret and develop schedules,<br>statistical reports and calculations<br>• Demonstrate ability to utilize Microsoft Office<br>• Ability to work within strict time frames and motivate project stakeholders to meet project<br>deadlines<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Result Areas:</span></p>\n<p><br>1. Demonstrate effective and positive project leadership<br>2. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction projects including blueprint reading,<br>typical trades work, schedules, and all project documentation<br>3. Ensure project finances are complete, updated, and the project fee is protected and enhanced<br>4. Work collaboratively with superintendents to execute effective and efficient projects<br>5. Build strong relationships with customers and architects that lead to upcoming project<br>opportunities</p>",
