    "description": "<p>We are seeking a compassionate and qualified <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Therapist</span> to join our team. This vital role focuses on supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of children and adolescents, helping them navigate academic pressures, social dynamics, and personal challenges. The therapist will play a key part in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children and adolescents can thrive both emotionally and academically.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span>:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents in both in-person and remote settings, both individually and in groups</li>\n<li>Develop and implement personalized intervention plans</li>\n<li>Conduct assessments to identify emotional and behavioral needs</li>\n<li>Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and other professionals as needed</li>\n<li>Develop and implement personalized intervention plans using evidence-based practices such as MATCH-ADTC, SBIRT, The Student Checkup, Botvin, and CBT</li>\n<li>Conduct assessments and monitor progress using validated tools including PSC-17, PSC-35, GAD-7, and PHQ-9.</li>\n<li>Offer workshops and training sessions for clients and patients on mental health issues</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient sessions and progress</li>\n<li>Advocate for patients' mental health needs within the community</li>\n<li>Develop and implement preventive programs and activities to promote mental health awareness</li>\n</ol>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field       </li>\n<li>Licensed or certified as a school therapist in the state of employment       </li>\n<li>Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of child development and evidence-based therapeutic interventions</li>\n<li>Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques</li>\n<li>Bilingual abilities are an asset (Spanish)</li>\n<li>Familiarity with special education laws and regulations</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Proficiency in using counseling and educational assessment tools</li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team</li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a school or clinical setting</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective intervention plans</li>\n<li>Knowledge of ethical guidelines and confidentiality laws pertaining to student mental health</li>\n<li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li>\n<li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion</li>\n<li>Commitment to continuous professional development and learning</li>\n<li>Ability to use technology effectively for record-keeping and communication</li>\n<li>Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support students' well-being.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation &amp; Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications</li>\n<li>Transportation reimbursement for work-related travel</li>\n<li>Opportunities for professional development and training</li>\n<li>Supportive and collaborative work environment</li>\n<li>Flexible scheduling options, including remote work opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Moderate degree of mental/visual stress involved. Concentrated periods of time spent using PC keyboard and viewing monitor.
