The MSL provides highly technical scientific information to national and regional external stakeholders to ensure their understanding of our product and gathers insights on areas of therapeutic interest to Dendreon. This position is responsible for the Central US territory, which includes WI, IN, MN, IA, MS, AK, LA, OK, ND, SD, NE, and KS.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>NOTE</strong><strong>: </strong><strong>Must reside within the designated territory for the posted position.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with health care professionals (HCPs):\n  <ul>\n   <li>Identify, map, and strategically engage key external experts (KOLs, investigators, and HCPs)</li>\n   <li>Develop long-term scientific partnerships through non-promotional exchange</li>\n   <li>Provide disease state and therapeutic awareness to urology and oncology thought leaders</li>\n   <li>Respond to scientific questions from thought leaders and HCPs</li>\n   <li>Serve as an advanced scientific expert in prostate cancer and immunology</li>\n   <li>Represent Dendreon at scientific conferences and gather actionable insights</li>\n   <li>Lead and participate in Advisory Boards and internal strategic planning meetings</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Strategic Responsibilities:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Develop and execute a territory medical plan aligned with Dendreon objectives</li>\n   <li>Generate and communicate actionable insights from field interactions</li>\n   <li>Serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams (Clinical, Market Access, Commercial)</li>\n   <li>Translate insights into recommendations to inform medical and lifecycle strategy</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Participate in the conduct of clinical trials:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Identify and support investigators and clinical operations</li>\n   <li>Support investigator-sponsored studies (IIS)</li>\n   <li>Identify evidence gaps and contribute to lifecycle management</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Participate in the education of HCPs and Dendreon employees:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Provide medical information at scientific meetings and congresses</li>\n   <li>Educate HCPs on appropriate use of PROVENGE®</li>\n   <li>Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders</li>\n   <li>Contribute to scientific discussions on evolving prostate cancer landscape</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Data, Insights, and Compliance:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Capture and document insights using approved systems (e.g., Veeva CRM)</li>\n   <li>Interpret clinical data, RWE, and competitive intelligence</li>\n   <li>Ensure all interactions are compliant with FDA and PhRMA guidelines</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Therapeutic Expertise and Differentiation:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Serve as an expert in cellular immunotherapy and autologous treatments</li>\n   <li>Understand and communicate patient journey and logistics of cell therapy</li>\n   <li>Maintain deep knowledge of prostate cancer competitive landscape</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Experience & Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, DNP) or equivalent</li>\n <li>3 years related experience in FDA-regulated industry </li>\n <li>2 years of clinical experience with preference for oncology, urology, or immunology outside of education and training</li>\n <li>Strong overall written and verbal communication skills; strong demonstrated presentation skills</li>\n <li>Proficient in all MS Office applications</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience strongly preferred, with at least 1+ years in a field-based MSL role.</li>\n <li>Established relationships with urologists, oncologists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the defined Northeast territory strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience in prostate cancer, uro-oncology, immuno-oncology, or cellular therapy preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Travel will be required and could be up to 50%, including overnight stays and occasional weekend travel.</li>\n <li><strong>Must reside within the designated territory for the posted position.</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.</li>\n <li>Intermittent walking to gain access to work areas.</li>\n <li>Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.</li>\n <li>Vision sufficient to use a computer, to read written materials and to complete paperwork activities.</li>\n <li>Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals by telephone and in person.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
