We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions!</p>\n<p>Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today!</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal is seeking<strong> Security Guard – Data Center</strong> in Brampton, ON<strong>.</strong>  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position: Security Guard – Data Center</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Type: </strong>Full- Time</p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Brampton</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Monday to Friday, 2400-0800 </p>\n<p><strong>Pay-Rate: </strong>$20.00 to $21.20 per hour   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong>:</p>\n<p>Allied Universal is seeking highly professional and reliable Security Guard – Data Center to join our team at a high-end data center in Brampton. </p>\n<p>You will be joining a team known for exceptional diligence, situational awareness, and professionalism. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Conduct routine and strategic patrols throughout the data centre to maintain safety, compliance, and operational integrity.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform active CCTV and live monitoring using advanced surveillance systems (experience strongly preferred).</p></li>\n <li><p>Enforce rigorous access control procedures, verify credentials, and manage visitor/contractor escorts.</p></li>\n <li><p>Communicate clearly and professionally with operations staff, site management, and security leadership.</p></li>\n <li><p>Respond to security incidents and emergencies with calm, effective decision-making.</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate with team leads to ensure seamless shift transitions and continuous security coverage.</p></li>\n <li><p>Complete detailed reporting, site checks, and documentation in alignment with data centre standards.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a valid Ontario Security License.</li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.</li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.</li>\n <li><p>Strong ability to operate technology, access control systems, CCTV platforms, and communication tools.</p></li>\n <li><p>Physically able to stand/walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 20 kg.</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience in a data center, or high-security environment is a strong asset and highly preferred.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
