    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p>Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer / Quoter Specialist to join its Saline, Michigan team! &nbsp;In this role, you will support customer quoting and procurement activities to ensure accurate pricing, timely material sourcing, and strong supplier coordination. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to develop competitive quotes and maintain cost, quality, and delivery objectives.</p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Prepare and manage customer quotes, including material pricing and cost analysis.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Source materials, components, and services from approved suppliers.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Request and evaluate supplier quotations, lead times, and pricing.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Issue purchase orders and manage supplier communications.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Support cost reduction and supplier negotiation initiatives.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain accurate purchasing and quoting data within ERP systems.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support customer and production needs.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and material availability.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assist with inventory, forecasting, and supply chain planning activities as needed.</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Minimum of 2 years prior experience in purchasing, quoting, procurement, or supply chain environments preferred.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Experience in manufacturing required.
