      "value": "Luminis Health is seeking to hire a Physician Assistant (Masters's Degree required) or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care Degree) to provide comprehensive care to patients under the Department of Thoracic Surgery.  This role will include inpatient, outpatient, and assisting in the operating room.    The AP staff member will work in close collaboration with the supervising physician, general surgery residents, and nurse staff.  Responsibilities include and not limited to the following:  \n-Perform daily rounds on postoperative patients and develop care plans in collaboration with the attending physician.\n-Staff in-patient consults in timely manner.\n-Assist in operating room and facilitate operative workflow\n-Independently staff postoperative clinic and coordinate appropriate Med Onc and Radiation Oncology referrals if appropriate. \n-Order and interpret diagnostic studies on outpatient and inpatients.\n-Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, postop expectations, and recovery. \n-Help coordinate multidisciplinary care with nursing, PT/OT, case management, medical and critical care teams. \n-Must have attention to detail ,excellent communication, and organizational skills with commitment to high quality, patient centered care.",
