And we’re just getting started!</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Facilities Technician performs day-to-day service and maintenance on cardio and strength equipment. The Facilities Technician performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, general maintenance repairs within the physical plant of each Corporate Club location, to deliver exceptional member experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role will cover 8-10 clubs throughout the Port St. Lucie, FL area.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Successfully repair out-of-order equipment as requested by clubs and receive sign-off of successful completion by the club staff. </li>\n <li>Communicate with the senior facilities technicians daily on progress and obstacles at assigned clubs.</li>\n <li>Consistently achieve at-standard results on the KPI scorecard.</li>\n <li>Responsible for all aspects of the helpdesk ticketing system for assigned clubs.</li>\n <li>Complete thorough club walk-through at each location visited for preventative maintenance (i.e., gym floor, storage, backroom, exterior etc.) and adequate cleaning supplies and equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain and update work schedules using Microsoft Outlook.</li>\n <li>Review received club facilities complaints monthly and addresses outstanding items.</li>\n <li>Maintain company vehicle inventory and cleanliness.</li>\n <li>Accurately document any work done on warranted equipment. Achieve a minimum of 10% of allotted time to be targeted towards equipment warranty work.</li>\n <li>Assist other Facilities team members as needed. </li>\n <li>Continuously grasp/grip, push/pull, bend, twist/turn, kneel, carry, walk, stand, and reach above shoulder level throughout the shift.</li>\n <li>Frequently move equipment and boxes weighing up to 80 pounds.</li>\n <li>Frequently work in a noisy environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and sharp objects such as box cutters.</li>\n <li>Occasionally climb and work in inclement weather.</li>\n <li>Occasionally sit in a car or on a plane, up to 3-hours one-way for travel to clubs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to travel 100% of the time, by car and plane, up to 3 hours one-way\n  <ul>\n   <li>Must have & maintain a “clean” driving record</li>\n   <li>Must have & maintain a valid driver’s license</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Mechanical and electrical service background, highly desired</li>\n <li>Experience working in a fitness club, preferred</li>\n <li>Forklift certification, a plus</li>\n <li>Possess basic computer skills, including knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail, efficient, and organized with an ability to establish priorities and objectives</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization</li>\n <li>Able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally</li>\n <li>Dedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growth</li>\n <li>Exhibits comfort, ease, and flexibility working in an extremely fast-paced ever-changing, deadline-driven environment</li>\n <li>Cooperative team player with an upbeat, positive, “can-do” attitude!</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to travel on Sundays, as needed, work early morning and evening shifts (i.e., as early as 7am and as late as 9pm), work in a noisy environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals, move equipment and boxes weighing up to 80 pounds, and continuously move around the club for the entirety of a working shift</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to work with dollies and pallet jacks, pushing/pulling up to 500lbs at a time, not exceeding 2,500lbs with a team assist</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Perks</h2>\n<p>Planet Fitness cares about you and your well-being.
