The petrochemicals business is LG Chem&#39;s core business area with world-class productivity and cost competitiveness.&nbsp;</p><p>LG Chem Ohio Petrochemical, Inc. opened its ABS Compounding Facility in Ravenna, Ohio in April 2024.</p><p>We are actively searching for new associates to join our team in Ravenna, Ohio to play an active and important role in growing our ABS Compounding Facility! &nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\">Basic Function:</p><p>QA Technician is responsible for all quality assurance testing in the ABS Plant. The QA technician will run analysis to ensure raw materials, process samples and finished goods meet all specified requirements in the Process Units and for the Customers. Completion of all Safety and Quality requirements are an essential part of the role.&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\">Essential Functions:<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform sampling and physical and chemical testing of finished products and raw materials.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Communicate effectively and thoroughly to management and peers any test results or inspection findings outside of specifications.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Manage product hold and release system.(SAP, LIMS)</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Identify non-conformances in quality or practices and take or recommend appropriate corrective action within scope of knowledge.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Conduct all laboratory testing with accuracy and integrity and ensures that it is accomplished in compliance with all ASTM, ISO, federal, state, and company policies and procedures.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Collection, documentation, and destruction of retention samples.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Keep accurate, complete, and legible records. Properly amend, identify, and file records.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Conduct clerical duties including copying, filing, faxing, data entry, and document reproduction.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Transfer product testing results from paper records to system database. (SAP)&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform routine maintenance tasks on in lab equipment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Safely handle/use/dispose of chemicals and waste. Potentially including hazardous materials.
