          "text": "<p>The CNC Machinists will operate CNC machines (lathes, VTL and mills). The Machinist’s primary responsibilities will be to set up, machine and check products, and keep production items running through the machine areas with quantity and quality acceptable to company standards. Demonstrate acceptable levels of productivity by running equipment at a production pace and complete changeovers in a timely manner. May also perform additional responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, cell support, finishing, and polishing. Machinist will work closely with the quality department and project coordinators.</p><p><strong><u>Scope of Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members</li><li>Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment</li><li>Wears appropriate PPE, which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head, and eye protection</li><li>Responsible for cleanliness of the assigned work area as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment</li><li>Proactively promotes the McWane Way Principles</li></ul><ul><li>Responsible for loading and unloading parts, deburring parts, and starting and stopping machine</li><li>Works under supervision, demonstrating a desire to and actively learning how to read blueprints, use appropriate measuring devices, and change,&#xa0;manipulate, and&#xa0;insert programs</li><li>Change inserts, touch off tools, load new fixtures, and pull up accurate pre-written programs</li><li>Modifying basic G-code and operation of CNC equipment and manual machines</li><li>Maintaining shop equipment</li><li>Maintaining stock materials and supplies to perform day-to-day tasks</li><li>Demonstrate quality craftsmanship with a desire to produce the best quality components possible</li><li>Demonstrate a keen sense of continuous improvement to produce things quicker and better</li><li>Responsible for fluid level maintenance of the assigned machine while in operation</li><li>Follow all company policies with special regard to safety, quality control, regulatory and materials handling.</li><li>Receive individual training and mentorship on operations of CNC equipment. Set up machines, lathes, mills or other machining centers for the production of products. Training on regulatory requirement and current documentation practices.</li><li>Participate in ongoing process improvements</li><li>Inspect parts to required specifications using precision measuring devices</li><li>Record production and maintain count cards.</li><li>CAM Programming preferred</li><li>CNC Machining complex and high precision parts in metal and plastic</li><li>May perform additional cell responsibilities as required.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Work Environment:&#xa0;</u></strong></p><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus and determine and distinguish color.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",

          "text": "<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CNC Machinist role</li><li>Enrolled in or participating in a CNC Machining program.</li><li>high school diploma/GED required</li><li>Associates or higher in a technical field preferred.</li><li>Computer skills required</li></ul><p><strong><u>Position Requirements</u></strong></p><ul><li>Standing, walking, stooping, balancing, kneeling, reaching, and sitting are some of the physical requirements.</li><li>Must be able to meet and adhere physical requirements as well as adhere to wearing the appropriate PPE (steel toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection and mask).</li><li>Will be required to work in the following conditions: heat, cold, noise, and vibration.</li><li>Must be able to work in dust and fumes.</li><li>Must have the ability to operate forklift or overhead crane.</li><li>Will be required to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands.</li><li>Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.</li><li>Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.</li></ul>",
