    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Pharmacist Per Diem (PRN) </strong></p>\n<p>VytlOne National Pharmacy Services is seeking a highly competent, compassionate, <strong>Pharmacist to work per diem (PRN)</strong> for this clinic-based pharmacy located in Bucksport, ME. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>VytlOne offers an integrated approach to patient care, as the pharmacy team collaborates closely with the doctors and nurses in the healthcare center. The pharmacy team will be an integral part of the care team for each patient. So, you would have a direct hand in improving outcomes. This is a chance to make a difference in helping the under-served patient population in this community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Bucksport Regional Health Center</strong></p>\n<p>The mission of the Bucksport Regional Health Center is to service the primary health care needs of the people of our service area, and beyond, by providing an environment within which our patients can reach and maintain excellent emotional and physical health through the maintenance of a fiscally viable, compassionate organization that strives for excellence by respecting and preserving the dignity of our patients and employees.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The estimated pay for this position is $78/ hr.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret and fill drug orders.</li>\n <li>Provide patient information and counseling.</li>\n <li>In the absence of store Pharmacist-In-Charge/Pharmacy Manager, may be required to act as the alternate store leader, responsible for managing ongoing functions of the pharmacy.</li>\n <li>Contact and confer with physicians regarding questions or irregularities on prescriptions.</li>\n <li>Dispense prescriptions, compound, and prepare I.V. admixtures (if applicable).</li>\n <li>Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies and appropriateness.</li>\n <li>Maintain patients’ medication records.</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory and records of controlled drugs and other drugs as required by law.</li>\n <li>Supervise pharmacy technicians in routine performance of their duties.</li>\n <li>Provide drug information to professional staff and patients as necessary.</li>\n <li>Participate in inventory control programs such as ordering, inventorying and monitoring correct pricing and quantities.</li>\n <li>Attend and participate in programs, committees, meetings, and functions as required by the facility or pharmacy.</li>\n <li>Participate in educational programs for professional staff as necessary.</li>\n <li>Participate in pharmacy orientation programs, pharmacy staff meetings and in-service educational programs.</li>\n <li>Participate in activities resolving unsafe and unsanitary practices.</li>\n <li>Exemplify excellence in customer communications and service.</li>\n <li>Work cooperatively with other staff members to enhance the team concept.</li>\n <li>Participate in the Performance Improvement Program.</li>\n <li>Maintains regular attendance in accordance with established policies.</li>\n <li>Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.</li>\n <li>Comply with VyltOne's Ethical Business Conduct policy and VytlOne’s Compliance Program.</li>\n <li>Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.</li>\n <li>Complete required training and ensure the departmental staff training is completed as required.</li>\n <li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong>                             </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. D., from an approved school of pharmacy and registration by the Maine state board of pharmacy</li>\n <li>One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<li>Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of polices and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.</li>\n<li>Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements (if applicable).</li>\n<li>Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.</li>\n<li>Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager</li>Apply online at: https://careers-maxor.icims.com/ \n<p>Legal Disclaimer: VytlOne is an EOE, including disability/vets</p>",
