The team consists of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. We have been providing contaminated site program management services to the worlds most technically focused companies for over 15 years. We consistently have backlog of 9 to 12 months and provide growth opportunities for our high performing team members. We specialize in health and safety, Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment and remediation. Our team takes on the biggest Canadian projects from coast to coast to coast.&nbsp;The projects range in type, size and complexity, and the successful candidate will be able to utilize the team strengths to manage a large amount of field work efficiently and effectively. &nbsp;</p><p>We have an opportunity for an Environmental Project Controller to join our team in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan or Ontario. The Remediation Program Management team is a national team serving large clients across Canada. We are known for providing top quality technical work to our clients. Many of our clients are long term clients that seek WSPs expertise in managing the assessment and remediation of their Sites. In this Project Controls Support role you would be responsible for supporting Project Managers, Project Accountants, and Management control the financial performance of projects. Supporting from project inception to closure and becoming an integral part help us steward best financial controls practices and deliver projects profitably.&nbsp;</p><hr><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Your Impact</strong></span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Collaborate with project managers, project accountants, and finance teams to track and control project costs.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Work with the project team to monitor the progress of deliverables, tasks, and the overall project using earned value principles.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Monitor project progress and performance, identifying deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as necessary.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential risks.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Conduct cost analysis and forecasting to ensure project budgets are adhered to and financial targets are met.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Produce forecasts through project completion utilizing ETC and EAC principles.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Support project management processes, including opening, closing, and quality assurance procedures.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Track change requests to ensure regular follow-ups.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Perform other assigned or required tasks related to the management and control of projects, costs, and schedules.</span></li></ul><hr><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Post secondary diploma or degree in accounting/finance, business administration, or other relevant training.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Minimum of 3 years of experience in project controls or project management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Proficiency in project finance software such as Oracle, or similar tools.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Familiarity with project planning software (MS Project or Primavera P6) is considered an asset.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Ability to multi-task, work on several projects or tasks at once, manage time, organize, and set priorities.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</span></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
