Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities for this Position</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic leader to serve as a System Engineering Product Owner and Technical Lead. You will be responsible for defining the technical direction for a large-scale solution capability while simultaneously managing a team of experienced engineers and directing multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). This hybrid role requires a unique blend of strategic product management, technical acumen, and exceptional people leadership to guide the solution from concept to delivery.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Product Owner:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Define, own, and communicate the solution vision, strategy, and roadmap for a specific topic area of the system</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with Development Leads to ensure ongoing architectural integrity and technical enablement.  Arbitrate technical decisions as needed</li>\n <li>Engage with customers, stakeholders, and Product Management to synthesize the technical solution into a coherent and executable strategy</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team & IPT Leadership:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide direct line management for a team of senior engineers, overseeing performance management, career development, and mentorship</li>\n <li>Lead and direct multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), ensuring their efforts are aligned with the solution vision and priorities</li>\n <li>Facilitate cross-IPT collaboration, manage dependencies, and resolve impediments to ensure seamless integration and delivery</li>\n <li>Drive accountability and execution excellence across the engineering teams and IPTs</li>\n <li>Manage resource allocation and ensure the teams are structured for success</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 5 years of formal people management experience, leading and developing engineering teams</li>\n <li>Proven success leading multiple cross-functional teams or IPTs in a complex, large-scale development environment</li>\n <li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills</li>\n <li><p>Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of 9 years of experience in systems engineering, program management, or product development</li>\n <li>Direct experience in a hybrid role combining project technical leadership with line management</li>\n <li>Demonstrated expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with significant experience working with System Engineering tasks</li>\n <li>Experience in the defense or aerospace industry</li>\n <li>Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Workplace Options:</strong>This position can be fully remote/telework, fully on-site, or HybridWhile on-site, you will be a part of the SDA program located in Scottsdale, Arizona</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-Hybrid#SDAGround#SDAGroundIN</p>\n<p>#SGS</p>\n<h2>Salary Note</h2>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
