    "description": "<h2>Position Description</h2>\n<p><strong>At a Glance</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Legrand </strong>has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Team Lead on the Monday through Thursday day shift from 6:00am to 4:00pm  to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will help direct the work of, support and lead a team of frontline employees within the warehouse area. You will help maintain a safe and organized work environment while fostering teamwork and accountability.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Main Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<p>· Models high standards of conduct and leadership. Leads and motivates team to meet daily performance goals and quality standards.</p>\n<p>· Ensures that employees are utilizing materials properly and effectively.</p>\n<p>· Assists in the training of new employees.</p>\n<p>· Acts as the “expert” for all areas within the warehouse.</p>\n<p>· Acts as a liaison between the warehouse team and management communicating direction, issues, concerns, etc.</p>\n<p>· Provides performance feedback of the team members to the Team Supervisors ongoing and as part of the formal annual performance review cycle.</p>\n<p>· Locates and transacts items in the Warehouse using Current Business System correctly.</p>\n<p>· Locates parts by part number while moving throughout the warehouse.</p>\n<p>· Maintains warehouse by keeping aisles clear of debris and putting material away. Promoting 5S Standards</p>\n<p>· Assists with warehouse maintenance including making spaces for incoming freight with material handling equipment.</p>\n<p>· Maintains inventory accuracy by cycle counting, adjusting quantities when necessary and doing root cause analysis; works closely with inventory control team.</p>\n<p>· Ensuring Safety requirements from the plant are communicated clearly (Ex: Toolbox Talks)</p>\n<p>· Adheres to all company policies, guidelines and practices.</p>\n<p>· Updates and running of Tier 2 Board meeting.</p>\n<p>· Performs other duties as required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:</strong></p>\n<p>· Ability to act as a leader.</p>\n<p>· Ability to learn to operate Forklift and Reach truck.</p>\n<p>· Basic computer experience. Microsoft Office (Excel a Plus)</p>\n<p>· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team member.</p>\n<p>· Ability to multi-task.</p>\n<p>· The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.</p>\n<p>· Able to maintain accurate records pertaining to picking and pulling orders and communicating discrepancies to Team Supervisor.</p>\n<p>· Knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Note: The above Job Description is representative of the responsibilities and qualifications necessary to be successful in this role. Further the job description does not alter the at-will nature of employment with Legrand and does not create a contract of employment.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong>:</p>\n<p>· High School Diploma or equivalent is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong>:</p>\n<p>· One to two years of Warehouse experience required. Three plus years of Warehouse experience preferred.</p>\n<p>· Valid Forklift certification preferred.</p>\n<p>· One year of (SL) Starline system knowledge experience preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p>· Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs occasionally; ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs often.</p>\n<p>· Stockroom setting with material handling equipment in use and limited exposure to environmental conditions.</p>\n<p>· Regularly standing, walking, climbing ladders for prolonged periods of time.</p>\n<p>· Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds for extended period of time.</p>\n<p>· Work with personal safety equipment such as safety harness, safety glasses, and hearing protection when necessary.</p>\n<p>· This position requires standing and bending over for 95% of the shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Company Info</h2>\n<p><strong>About Legrand</strong></p>\n<p>Legrand is the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
