    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>Entry level weld position who is responsible for continuing to learn the fundamental TIG welding procedures and techniques on a variety of metals and applications within 1 year of being awarded position. Upon successful completion of requirements for this position, employee will be promoted to Welder II.</p><p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Complete On the Job Training<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Traveling to offsite training may be required</li></ul></li><li>Read and interpret engineering drawings</li><li>Assemble parts prior to welding; ability to understand part fit-up and clearance requirements</li><li>Weld production grade hardware</li><li>Perform visual weld inspection, including under 10x magnification</li><li>Ability to section and polish hardware so that weld penetration can be evaluated</li><li>Basic understanding and able to explain the use of backup gases (argon)</li><li>Develop understanding of weld terminology (i.e. Drop thru, negative/positive welds, porosity, etc.)</li><li>Use gage tools such as calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, pin gages, and comparator</li><li>Upon completion of training, ability to work on multiple welds per certifications as a Welder II</li><li>Meet standard work requirements at operation&nbsp;</li><li>Other tasks as directed by management</li></ul><p><strong>Certification Criteria:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Maintain weld certification &amp; sign-off obtained as a Weld Trainee</li><li>Complete one of the two following training options:<ol><li>Option A<ul><li>Obtain S-558 Certification</li><li>Certify on two S-558 weld types</li><li>Obtain Work Instruction Sign-off for at least one part within each of the two new certifications</li></ul></li><li>Option B<ul><li>Certify on four non S-558 weld types</li><li>Obtain Work Instruction Sign-off for at least one part within each new certification.</li></ul></li></ol></li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Pass Eye Exam as prescribed under AA TECH Quality Policies</li><li>Completed Weld Safety Training</li><li>Completed AA TECH on the Job Training for both Basic and Advanced Weld Operator</li><li>Completed AA Tech Weld Trainee position requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Competencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"square\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Mechanical aptitude</li><li>Attentive to detail</li><li>Ability to perform problem-solving</li><li>Good manual dexterity and hand eye coordination</li><li>Ability to work in a sitting position for a full shift of work</li></ul><p>Due to the Company&rsquo;s military contractor status, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States and must provide evidence of citizenship or immigration status upon applying for the position.&nbsp;</p><p>Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local laws.
