    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #333433;\">Overview:</span></span></p>\n<p>Ena Lake Lodge (ELL) is now hiring for its 2025 season, running from June through September.  We are looking for mature, dedicated, experienced, and personable staff who demonstrate a passion for providing the perfect customer experience and angling adventure for lodge shareholders and retail guests.  Ena Lake Lodge hosts up to 12 guests per visit in 6 individual cabins on each 3- or 4-night trips.  This position will answer directly to the Lead Guide Team and the General Manager and will interact daily with the Ena Lake Lodge team. Fishing Guides will report directly to the Lead Guide team and work closely with the General Manager. The ELL team works together to provide an exceptional experience for all guests young and old.  All lodge staff will be contracted for the season, with scheduled breaks on and/or off island (as available). Ena Lake Lodge embodies the following Core Values both in our service at the lodge and in our employees:  Excellence, Positivity, Integrity, Forward Thinking, Humility and Family.  See<span> </span><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https://www.dropbox.com/s/cozsufmlfoapwi9/Ena%20Lake%20Lodge%20-%20Core%20Values.pdf?dl=0\">Ena Lake Core Values</a> for more details. Please visit<span> </span><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http://www.enalake.com/\">www.enalake.com</a> to learn more about this exceptional and unique northern Saskatchewan fishing lodge and the surrounding area. <strong>Responsibilities and Duties of this position include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide the “Best” possible customer service and experience for all our guests</li>\n<li>Maintain The Ena Lake Lodge core values in all aspects of ELL program delivery<span> </span><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https://www.dropbox.com/s/cozsufmlfoapwi9/Ena%20Lake%20Lodge%20-%20Core%20Values.pdf?dl=0\">Ena Lake Core Values</a></li>\n<li>Assist in preparing the lodge, facilities, equipment, and cabins for the start of the season.</li>\n<li>Welcome guests at the dock and assist with the loading and unloading of supplies, gear, and luggage from aircraft.</li>\n<li>Assist in renovation projects, day-to-day operation and maintenance throughout the season.</li>\n<li>Facilitating guest schedules and fulfilling guiding assignments on a per guest trip basis.</li>\n<li>Operate and maintain watercraft and equipment, clean and fuel boats daily.</li>\n<li>Plan and lead daily fishing excursions, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests both on island, on Ena Lake and flyout/portage lakes.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with hospitality staff and assist in shore lunch preparation, cleaning fish and clean up.</li>\n<li>Work with hospitality staff to ensure the overall guest experience is top quality.</li>\n<li>Camp work such as cutting wood, raking sand, staining wood, garbage disposal, fuel storage, and other duties as assigned (some heavy lifting may be required).</li>\n<li>Provide outdoor, wilderness and wildlife instruction and information to guests.</li>\n<li>Assist in the departure of guests, including moving luggage from cabins to dock/aircraft.</li>\n<li>Follow ALL standard safety procedures and proper use of equipment.</li>\n<li>Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guide personal quarters and staff social areas (some meal prep may be required).</li>\n<li>Participate in Ena Team Tip Pool initiative that treats all team members equally.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by the Lead Guide, Operations Coordinator and General Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><strong>Qualifications and Skills for this position:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative and passionate about great customer service and providing the ultimate customer experience.</li>\n<li>Hardworking, positive, and friendly personality with a professional demeanor.</li>\n<li>Strong time management and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Honest and responsible.</li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and as a team.</li>\n<li>Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills are essential.</li>\n<li>Experience in delivering a high standard of customer service.</li>\n<li>Excellent and safe boat operation skills.</li>\n<li>Highly proficient in technology that includes Hummingbird, Minn Kota and Garmin systems </li>\n<li>Proficient with Panoptics Livescope and Autochart technologies </li>\n<li>Prior work experience at a fishing lodge, remote location, camp and/or previous job experience in the tourism industry is preferred.</li>\n<li>Wilderness experience and enthusiasm (camping, fishing, hunting, and boating) is a requirement.</li>\n<li>The following Certifications are required:\n<ul>\n<li>First Aid/CPR certification</li>\n<li>WHMIS</li>\n<li>PAL</li>\n<li>Boating License</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Guest tackle and gear will be provided, guide wear costs will be supplemented.
