Join our dynamic team where you can play a crucial role in creating a meaningful and long-lasting influence on the communities we serve.  Apply now for our Aviation Team Lead opportunity based in our Meridian office. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This opportunity is also available for those who live close to any of our office locations.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The Aviation Team Lead will work closely with other engineers, technical specialists, and clients to successfully deliver innovative solutions for complex aviation projects and challenges. They will lead our Aviation efforts and brings experience in client management and coordination, FAA funding and regulation, airport planning, design, and project delivery. This is an exciting growth opportunity for a motivated person ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to our growing operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties/Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent Keller Associates, building relationships with new and existing clients, and sub-consultants.</li>\n<li>In coordination with the Principal Engineer, develop marketing strategies for the aviation/airport market.</li>\n<li>Maintain, update and execute strategic plan.</li>\n<li>Lead aviation work by marketing aviation projects and then organizing team(s) to manage and deliver those projects.</li>\n<li>Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with staff supervisors and other Project Managers for workload assignments.</li>\n<li>Be responsible for the overall profitability of aviation projects, ensuring that jobs are conducted within project scope.</li>\n<li>Develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity.</li>\n<li>Provide technical expertise by formulating and developing advanced design concepts, techniques, and standards.</li>\n<li>Document and report project progress to Principal Engineer</li>\n<li>Manage training, development, and mentoring of team members</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor and guide Team Members’ project tasks.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills/Abilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven leadership skills</li>\n<li>Excellent project management and organization skills</li>\n<li>Ability to lead contract negotiation and execution.</li>\n<li>Ability to work successfully with project managers and other discipline leads in multiple disciplines with a range of approaches.</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Understanding of FAA funding programs, design standards, and project delivery.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering</li>\n<li>8+ years of civil engineering experience related to aviation design as well as experience in a leadership role.</li>\n<li>Professional Engineer (PE) License required.</li>\n<li>Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employee medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents</li>\n<li>Short-term and long-term disability insurance</li>\n<li>Company paid life insurance with option to buy up</li>\n<li>Salary Advantage Program</li>\n<li>Employee assistance program (EAP)</li>\n<li>Flexible spending account (FSA)</li>\n<li>Health savings account (HSA)</li>\n<li>401k match program &amp; access to asset management services</li>\n<li>Year-end bonus</li>\n<li>Costco membership</li>\n<li>Paid time off (PTO) and PTO sell back program</li>\n<li><span>Paid Holidays</span></li>\n<li><span>Parental Leave</span></li>\n<li><span>Tuition Reimbursement</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid day of community service</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are a mid-sized consulting firm providing water, wastewater, civil, transportation, and structural engineering services throughout the West including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah.
