Aved&#39;s expertise in designing solutions attracts our customers, and the ability to manufacture quality assemblies is the foundation of our success.<br><br><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>SUMMARY:</u></strong></p><p>Battery Assembler Leads will work as part of a team that is responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product. &nbsp;Leads are responsible for ensuring that the Battery Assembler&rsquo;s assigned to them perform all tasks in the assembly process and rotate through all of them. Leads are encouraged to provide input and feedback to engineers and/or Supervisors and Managers to strive towards continuous improvement.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>KEY</u></strong><strong><u>&nbsp;RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIES: &nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ensure Battery Assemblers rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process</li><li>Responsible for ensuring the final assembly of cables, battery packs, or electro-mechanical assembly for their assigned team</li><li>Adhere to and maintain workmanship standards set forth by the organization</li><li>Verify time and attendance of Battery Assemblers; assure that all employees maintain adherence to the time and attendance policy and are part of a productive and engaged workforce</li><li>Participate in continuous training, including but not limited to cross training to all three divisions.</li><li>Use lead free solder on PC boards</li><li>Adhere to Aved&rsquo;s safety protocols regarding personnel protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; COMPETENCIES:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)</li><li>Can confidently oversee a small group of Battery Assembly employees during the course of daily activity and help guide them through their responsibilities</li><li>Ability to read and write English and comfortably speak English throughout the course of each workday</li><li>Ability to pay attention to the minute details in a work instruction; must be able to read and understand all work instructions written and explained in English&nbsp;</li><li>Basic computer skills</li><li>Basic knowledge of hand tools</li><li>Proficient knowledge of measuring devices including vernier/caliper</li><li>Can perform work accurately and thoroughly</li><li>Able to adapt to change in the workplace</li><li>Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work</li><li>Can comprehend basic technical topics</li><li>Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p><p>This is a Manufacturing Environment requiring some or all of the following:</p><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting while performing assembly tasks at a workstation, as well as the ability to stand for prolonged periods during assembly line work.</li><li>Repetitive tasks involving hand and wrist motions, such as assembling small parts, using tools and operating machinery.</li><li>Fine motor skills for accurate and efficient assembly.</li><li>Frequent reaching, grasping, pushing or pulling production materials.</li><li>Capable of lifting and carrying battery components, tools or assembled units weighing up to 50lbs. &nbsp;May involve moving or positioning items within the manufacturing area.</li><li>Standing, bending or kneeling to access equipment, perform on-site assessments, operate machinery, handle delicate components or performs tasks at various heights and angles.</li><li>Working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
