They allocate resources, drive improvements, align with company goals, and manage team performance and compliance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee daily maintenance activities, ensuring efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, and production systems during the assigned shift.</li>\n <li>Monitor and improve equipment performance and production floor efficiency using OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and downtime analysis.</li>\n <li>Train and mentor maintenance technicians in advanced troubleshooting techniques, including electrical diagnostics, PLC programming, and mechanical repairs, following the company’s training program.</li>\n <li>Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address recurring equipment failures or inefficiencies.</li>\n <li>Perform emergency repairs and provide technical guidance on production equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures during maintenance tasks, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols and working with high-voltage equipment.</li>\n <li>Allocate resources and assign tasks for Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure timely completion.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with leadership to align maintenance strategies with company priorities and operational goals.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical safety codes, as well as all relevant federal, provincial, and local regulations.</li>\n <li>Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, manage inventory, and document maintenance activities for improved system reliability.</li>\n <li>Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success.</li>\n <li>Monitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company Procedures.</li>\n <li>Approve the vacation requests. </li>\n <li>Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.</li>\n <li>Issue disciplinary action when needed. </li>\n <li>Perform other assigned duties and manage waterlogs.</li>\n <li>Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Must follow <u>G</u>ood <u>M</u>anufacturing <u>P</u>ractices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.</li>\n <li>Comply with all Company policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with expertise in PLCs.</li>\n <li>Industrial Millwright 433A or Electrical License (309A or 442) preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of OEE metrics, downtime analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA) for improving equipment performance.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with health and safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and high-voltage safety standards.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using CMMS for work order tracking, inventory management, and maintenance documentation.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working conditions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work indoors.</li>\n <li>May be exposed to hot temperatures from ovens.</li>\n <li>May work close to others, usually within a few feet.</li>\n <li>Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing involved.</li>\n <li>May repeat the same movement.</li>\n <li>Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.</li>\n <li>Ability to bend or twist their body.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At <strong>Snackruptors Inc</strong>, we truly care about our employees and are committed to their well-being and growth.
