EO/AA</i></p>\n<p>This position provides specialized cosmetic dermatologic procedures by providing skin analysis and develops skin care programs. Our five hospitals and eleven clinics provide excellence in our comprehensive services, medical advancement, and overall patient outcomes.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs advanced cosmetic procedures including chemical peels, laser treatments, microdermabrasion, acne treatments, intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments, facials, cosmetic enhancements and full body treatments.</li>\n <li>Analyzes skin and provides skin care consultations.</li>\n <li>Develops skin care programs and educates patients.</li>\n <li>Documents procedures and information in patient charts.</li>\n <li>Assists physicians with invasive laser surgeries.</li>\n <li>Orders medical supplies and skin care products.</li>\n <li>Researches and promotes skin care lines.</li>\n <li>Receives, responds to, and directs patient communications, including phone calls, emails, and other interactions.</li>\n <li>Performs clerical functions such completing chart notes in patient's records, and entering properly coded charges for billing purposes.</li>\n <li>Verify referrals and pre-authorizations from insurance companies for procedures and treatments.</li>\n <li>May perform the duties of a Laser Safety Officer including, but not limited to, managing the cleaning log. working with vendors on maintenance, assisting in the creation of policies and procedures, scheduling patients, assuring availability of the laser, and overseeing the stock of supplies and products.</li>\n <li>May perform other duties, as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Knowledge / Skills / Abilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to provide care appropriate to the population served.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h3>Qualifications</h3> \n<h3>Licenses Required</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>MASTER ESTHETICIAN</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
