JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Orientation and Mobility Instructor MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS M.A. degree in Special Education/Orientation and Mobility Specialist. Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Orientation and Mobility. Valid California Driver License. Certified Orientation and Mobility (C.O.M.S) preferred. APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS Complete application Provide relevant documents: Basic Skills Requirement Baccalaureate (or higher) degree transcripts Copy of credential (if applicable) Provide contact information for professional references, including current or most recent school-based or child-centered employment Applicants may be contacted by Human Resources with requests for outstanding documents or information. Applicants who are deemed ELIGIBLE by Human Resources will be placed on the appropriate eligibility list for a period of one calendar year. Eligibility status is neither an offer nor a guarantee of employment in LAUSD ELIGIBLE candidates may apply to available positions for which they qualify Candidates who receive an offer from a school site or office will be contacted with onboarding instructions.
