We are seeking a Senior Substation Project Manager to join our Energy-Electric sector. The Senior Substation Project Manager will oversee and lead electric substation, transmission and distribution infrastructure projects to ensure sure the safety and reliability of power delivery. This role involves developing strategic plans, managing budgets, and overseeing both internal and external resources. The Senior Substation Project Manager also handles risk management, project scope changes, and maintains effective communication with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. This work is critical in protecting customers by enhancing the safety of electric utility systems and maintaining reliable power delivery.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide overall project oversight for electric transmission, distribution and substation infrastructure projects.</li>\n <li>Lead coordination and performance monitoring across project teams.</li>\n <li>Manage project plans, program budgets, schedule, resource planning, and portfolio risk mitigation strategies.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with client stakeholders to align project priorities and resolve escalated issues.</li>\n <li>Acts as a utilities subject matter expert while supporting and driving regional business development initiatives.</li>\n <li>Identify, monitor, and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as necessary.</li>\n <li>Assigns tasks, sets priorities, and monitors progress to ensure project milestones are met.</li>\n <li>Track and report on key metrics such as cost, schedule performance, and project readiness.</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains accurate documentation, including program procedural documents and project specific documentation such as contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.</li>\n <li>Identify process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and mitigate wildfire risk.</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with utility standards, regulatory mandates, and public safety requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of project management experience in the Electric utility sector required</li>\n <li>Direct experience managing Electric substation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure projects required</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred</li>\n <li>PMP certification or equivalent training preferred</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of electric utility construction methods, permitting processes, and regulatory environments</li>\n <li>Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency using Primavera P6, Power BI, MS Project, SAP, and portfolio reporting tools and portfolio reporting tools</li>\n <li>Proficiency using the Microsoft office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pay Range: $143,000 - $175,000 per year</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work Location: Remote (California residents only)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Travel: Up to 5-10% travel to project sites within Imperial County, CA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check</p>\n<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p><strong>Cordoba Corporation, Making a Difference</strong></p>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a nationally recognized civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
