    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Northwood Technical College is seeking applications from qualified candidates for a full-time College Health Nurse at the New Richmond Campus.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The College Health Nurse provides and/or coordinates a variety of essential health/safety/wellness services to both students and staff under the daily supervision of the campus Dean of Students with central coordination provided by the Dean of Students at our New Richmond campus.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>College health nursing is directed toward enhancing the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning, promoting optimal wellness, enabling individuals to make informed decisions about health-related concerns, and empowering students and staff to be self-directed and well-informed consumers of health care services.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively embody and promote Northwood Tech’s Values:\n  <ul>\n   <li><em>Collaboration – </em>Value relationships that enhance learning and promote economic development.</li>\n   <li><em>Innovation -</em> Embrace the latest theories and technologies to support student and community success.</li>\n   <li><em>Excellence – </em>Prioritize high quality education, services, and continuous improvement in a dynamic learning environment.</li>\n   <li><em>Community – </em>Value our deep connections to our communities by working together to provide solutions through student success.</li>\n   <li><em>Support –</em> Empower individuals by supporting their success with quality experiences and services designed to meet their needs.</li>\n   <li><em>Integrity –</em> Uphold honesty and accountability in a diverse, open, and ethical learning and working environment.</li>\n   <li><em>Respect –</em> Value each individual and approach all interactions mindfully, with civility, empathy, and openness to new and differing ideas.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Provide a diverse and comprehensive program of wellness/health/safety education for students and staff.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Develop and implement programs related to health and wellness working with students or student organizations whenever possible.</li>\n   <li>Assist with the integration of wellness issues and preventative education in collaboration with other district departments.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Manage the operation of the campus health service.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Prepare/implement annual plan of activities.</li>\n   <li>Maintain health records that are confidential/secure and provide appropriate documentation.</li>\n   <li>Coordinate activities for health service intern(s)/work study, and/or service learning students.</li>\n   <li>Assist with New Student Orientation, as needed.</li>\n   <li>Oversee campus health service and wellness budget.</li>\n   <li>Participate in the development and implementation of health and health service related policies and procedures.</li>\n   <li>Service as a resource to the administration on environmental health and safety issues.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Coordinate and provide physical/health services for students and staff.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Provide assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation of health problems.</li>\n   <li>Provide client education related to prevention, wellness, disease or treatment.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) to receive and report criminal incidents to the Northwood Tech Safety Office by virtue of this role’s responsibilities at the College (only applies to instructor positions with club advising duties).</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Degree & Experience Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in related field</li>\n <li>Two years related work experience</li>\n <li>One year Supervisory/Leadership experience</li>\n <li>CPR certification</li>\n <li>Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally</li>\n <li>Ability to contribute to a team environment while maintaining accountability and motivation in self and others</li>\n <li>Strong customer service skills that focus on diversity, community, and continuous quality improvement</li>\n <li>Problem-solving skills that employ critical thinking</li>\n <li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to effectively apply technology to tasks and projects</li>\n <li>Experience leading projects through time management and effective delegation</li>\n <li>Clinical, assessment, counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Experience in occupational health, public health, or prevention/health education</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain driver’s license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policy</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary</h2>\n<p>FY26 Salary -
