But to keep it looking good takes some work. You’ll wash the truck, sweep the inside, and generally keep things tidy. </li>\n <li><strong>You’ll make sure we don’t run out of ice cream!</strong> In order to keep putting smiles on people’s faces, we gotta have enough ice cream. Sometimes you may need to run to the store to stock up on ice cream before an event. </li>\n <li><strong>You’ll work some evenings and some weekends.</strong> There are some events in our service area we wanna make sure to visit with the ice cream truck, and events tend to be on evenings or weekends. You’re comfortable with the chaos of a bunch of kids trying to pick what kind of ice cream they want. Sometimes, you’ll meet a kid that’s just not in a good mood, but you don’t let that get to you! You know how to keep your cool and work to make people smile.</li>\n <li><strong>You’re a strategic thinker.</strong> You don’t wanna drive the ice cream truck to random places, you wanna visit places that are gonna make the biggest impact! You’re able to think of good places to go, but you can also make the call when a stop ends up being a flop and you need to maximize your time somewhere else. </li>\n <li><strong>Efficiency is important to you.</strong> The Morris-Jenkins ice cream truck is popular! Sometimes, we end up with a long line of people wanting free ice cream (can you blame them?). You can manage the crowd well and get a lot of people their treats quickly. </li>\n <li><strong>You’ve got a clean driving record.</strong> Your friends might even joke you’re “too safe” when you drive (we don’t believe there’s any such thing!). Part of the interview process for this job includes a driving test, but that doesn’t worry you!</li>\n <li><strong>You love summer weather!</strong> Summers in the Carolinas can get really hot, and our ice cream truck is no exception. You love sunshine and summer weather and would rather be hot than cold any day!</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>You know Greenville/Spartanburg like the back of your hand!</strong> When your friends wanna hang out, you've always got ideas for places to visit in the area. You even know all the amazing spots you can find surrounding GSP. Morris-Jenkins services Greenville county, and Spartanburg county. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Super-Fun HR Stuff</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Driving ice cream truck around the community, neighborhoods, and events</li>\n <li>Giving out free ice cream</li>\n <li>Smiling, waving, and interacting with the public, if approached</li>\n <li>All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by supervisor/manager</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience driving large commercial vehicles</li>\n <li>Pristine driving record</li>\n <li>Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality</li>\n <li>High level of maturity and responsibility</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal communication skills; fluent in the English language</li>\n <li>Alignment & commitment to company values (honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect)</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong familiarity with places within the greater Charlotte area and the towns and cities surrounding it.</li>\n <li>Prior basic logistics experience</li>\n <li>Prior customer service experience</li>\n <li>CDL</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#MJGVLI </p>\n<p>#LI-AS1</p>",
