This position is responsible for performance, performance feedback, communication, training and discipline and development within Forward Air’s Complete Cartage team.&nbsp; They control the use of resources and coordinating with various sales and operations management, customers and other field personnel.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Ongoing personal training which develops industry knowledge as well as sales and supervisory knowledge and skill</li><li>Ensures Completion and reporting of all CMG Operations duties and KPI’s</li><li>Ensures key performance metrics are fulfilled with applicable problem solving</li><li>Ensures onboarding, training needs and development of RCS</li><li>Ensure department schedules that support operational needs within budget</li><li>Promote and protect department culture of professionalism &nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate to ensure daily duties coverage with reporting &nbsp;to management</li><li>Resolve escalations and use them to better the product, person and or process and increase sales and customer loyalty</li><li>Ensure accurate and on time reconciling and payables and receivables</li><li>Arrange resources to accommodate special business, holidays, weather impacts, exceptions</li><li>Communicate IT, procedural and other needs &nbsp;and participate in their designs; create process guides</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven/quantifiable leadership and supervisory skill</li><li>Exceptional multi-tasking ability with changing and competing priorities</li><li>Technical and mathematical proficiency</li><li>Ability to drive performance of direct reports and lead a team in a fast paced environment</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours and stay until the job is done</li><li>College degree/certification and or proven industry knowledge and experience</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Solid business acumen with strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Proficiency in AS400, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint while keeping current with new technology</li><li>Cultural sensitivity</li><li>Positive attitude</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to negotiate</li><li>Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion</li></ul><p><strong>Forward Air is an Equal Opportunity employer.</strong></p>",
