With major growth sectors such as renewable energy, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging, EPC is growing fast.</p><p><strong>What We Do:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p>EPC is located in the center of a high-tech commercial park in Poway, CA to meet the demands of its rapidly growing customer base. &nbsp;We are focused on developing and manufacturing robust and reliable power conversion solutions to solve real-world customer problems, and doing it in a smaller, more powerful footprint than anything else available today. &nbsp;We enjoy what we do, and we encourage a creative, healthy, and highly collaborative environment. &nbsp;Our goal is to work together as a fun, creative, and professional team; learning from and encouraging one-another as we push the state of the art forward in power electronics.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>As a Material Control Coordinator, you will assist the Manufacturing &amp; Warehouse Departments with inventory management to ensure the flow of components continuously support the team&rsquo;s production schedule and goals. This is a hands-on position where you will be physically delivering parts between departments throughout the Supply Chain, and completing all related systemic ERP transactions. You will be working with a diverse team of dedicated, creative and technical forces behind the design and development of new power conversion systems. By being a part of our team, you will help us take our ideas from conception to reality.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;Responsibilities: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, status, and location of materials</li><li>Pull stock inventory and material from main inventory to manufacturing floor; replenish stock inventory</li><li>Deliver inventory items in a timely and accurate manner to recipients</li><li>Analyzes and monitors inventory, work orders, and Inventory Transfer Requests</li><li>Manage Min/Max physical Inventory Levels for manufacturing inventory</li><li>Ensures system accuracy and traceability of components thru timely transactions and physical movements</li><li>Updates and monitors daily movement of parts providing information to appropriate personnel regarding back order of critical scheduled material</li><li>Coordinates the delivery of materials as required for designated production areas and engineering projects</li><li>Reviews material requisitions issued to the stockroom to ensure that material is properly allocated, and storage will not affect production</li><li>Ensures the completion of physical inventory counts, prepares lists of obsolete and excess quantities of stock components</li><li>Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices</li><li>Work with a cross-functional team to learn and understand the Company goals and needs</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Required skills:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience in materials planning, production planning or control, master scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain management preferred (0 &ndash; 3 years)</li><li>Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)</li><li>ERP system experience preferred, Odoo a plus</li><li>Familiar with documentation processes and work instructions</li><li>Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong communication skills both written and verbal</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a diverse team</li><li>Able to reach with hands and arms to stoop, kneel, or crouch</li><li>Continually required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds/ up to 60 pounds</li><li>Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)</li><li>Continually work near moving mechanical parts</li><li>Occasionally exposed to outside (Poway, CA) weather conditions</li><li>Occasionally exposed to extreme heat or cold (non-weather)</li><li>Occasionally exposed to loud noise</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental and vision insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance&nbsp;</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>\n    </div>\n  \n",
