This is including, but not limited to HVAC, boilers, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration systems, blenders, processing and packaging equipment.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Primary Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ensures operation of plant machinery utilizing both electrical and mechanical skills to troubleshoot equipment</li><li>Completes preventive/predicative maintenance procedures</li><li>Ensures duties of the position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner</li><li>Controls downtime by completing needed repairs and part replacements in a timely fashion</li><li>Fabricates repair parts by machining items to specifications as necessary</li><li>Provides mechanical maintenance information by informing production workers of routine techniques, answering questions, and responding to requests</li><li>Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and updating certified skill levels</li><li>Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations</li><li>Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p>Not Applicable</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent</li><li>Able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff</li><li>Minimum three to five years related maintenance experience</li><li>Broad knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, AC drives, VFDs and PLCs&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills</li><li>Valid state driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Able to work overtime and weekends as needed</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred</li><li>Bilingual preferred</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Able to lift in excess of 40 pounds daily</li><li>Able to tolerate extreme temperatures&nbsp;</li><li>Able to operate variety of hand and power tools on a frequent, daily basis</li><li>Able to occasionally climb, crouch, kneel and crawl to service variety of equipment</li></ul><p><br></p><table border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" id=\"isPasted\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>&nbsp;This is a union position and comes with benefits provided by the union, upon completion of the 90 day probationary period.
