With intuition and strategic thinking, you prioritize competing demands as you lead your team to deliver on time.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Binnie is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Transportation Major Projects Division, which provides Owner’s Engineer and Project Delivery services for the planning, design, procurement, and construction of major infrastructure projects in British Columbia. This is a full-time position based out of our Burnaby Office, located near scenic Deer Lake.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Our recent projects include the Patullo Bridge Replacement Project, Fraser River Tunnel Project, and Steveston Interchange Project.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You will work with our experienced Senior Project Managers and our talented engineering team to ensure we meet our clients’ needs. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement. You will utilize your excellent client networking and business development skills to secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">YOUR ROLE:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Act as the main point of contact on projects working with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and support staff</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage major transportation engineering projects on behalf of the Owner’s Engineer Team or Design Team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide technical leadership and direction to junior and intermediate staff on Owner’s Engineer Team or Design Teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Evaluate RFP opportunities for alignment with division goals and corporate strategy and lead proposal efforts for large multidisciplinary projects in coordination with our Proposal Team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide directions to staff and subconsultants</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Engage in active business development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop win strategies specific to pursuits</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop project schedules and coordinating resources</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Monitor budget and progress on projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proactively supporting clients and anticipating project needs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Oversee the correct implementation of our quantity management system and application of design standards for engineering work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide guidance to PMs on strengthening client relationships and how to forge new, </span>strategic business relationships</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU BRING:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A minimum of 10+ years of related technical experience in transportation engineering or project management in a civil engineering environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Registration as a P.Eng. preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience leading design or other technical teams in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with the design, procurement, construction and closeout phases of alternate delivery projects (Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, Alliance, etc)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Extensive experience in client management in a professional consulting environment, </span>including resolving conflict with internal and external stakeholders</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrated experience delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrated leadership skills leading project teams, including conflict resolution, </span>negotiation, coaching and training</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Exceptional project management, design, and time management skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proven experience in business development activities, including proposal writing, effective client management and relationship building</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Positive attitude and dependable with the ability to work cooperatively and productively in a multidisciplinary team environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrated team management and delegation skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proven conflict resolution capabilities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong communication and time management skills and ability to work concurrently on several different projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent attention to detail to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">ABOUT BINNIE:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We are the people behind the infrastructure you use every day.
