From construction management and observation/inspection services to laboratory testing and materials and forensic engineering, our Construction Services market helps to develop and maintain America's infrastructure and supply chain and is a recognized industry leader with more than 25 accredited laboratories. </p>\n<p><strong>Step into Your New Role</strong></p>\n<p>Kleinfelder's Irving (DFW) TX office is seeking a Construction Materials and Geotechnical Testing Laboratory Technician to join our team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We're looking for a person with strong initiative, who will perform routine to complex testing for construction materials and geotechnical testing in the laboratory, in order to verify conformance to standards and specifications </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Specific responsibilities will include</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performing concrete cylinder compression testing</li>\n <li>Following proper procedures and standards</li>\n <li>Performing daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples</li>\n <li>Performing accurate computations</li>\n <li>Maintaining cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc. and</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Consideration for this position requires that following certification(s) or experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>ACI Concrete Compression Strength Technician - Level 1</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>The Laboratory Technician will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The preferred candidate will have 0-3 years of construction materials laboratory testing experience; however we will train the correct individual.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS </p>\n<ul>\n <li>NICET - Level I (Soils and/or Construction Materials Testing) </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Education: High school diploma or equivalent required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check. </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
