We are a strong-knit community that values the ideas and contributions of our staff.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Are you ready to make a difference?</strong></p>\n<h2>Minimum Education Required</h2>High School Diploma/GED\n<h2>Shift</h2>Third Shift\n<h2>Additional Shift Details</h2>Thu, Fri, Sat 10pm - 8am\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the well-being and safety of clients, fostering a clean, home-like environment.</li>\n <li>Remain awake, alert and responsive to the needs of the clients throughout the shift.</li>\n <li>Assist clients with morning activities such as preparing for the day, cleaning and cooking.</li>\n <li>Provide routine checks according to program procedure.</li>\n <li>Develop and document Individualized Action Plans (IAPs), Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and other reviews with the clients. </li>\n <li>Communicate program participant's progress, mental status, and any changes in daily notes.</li>\n <li>Report significant health, psychiatric or behavioral issues to the on-call staff member.</li>\n <li>Provide crisis intervention and access emergency services as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent degree, plus six months' related experience.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, judgement and coaching skills.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to utilize basic computer applications.</li>\n <li>Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centered, team-oriented environment.</li>\n <li>Must hold a valid driver's license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.</li>\n <li>Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Advocates is committed to cultivating a diverse and welcoming community where everyone feels respected and valued.
