    "description": "<h2>Basic Qualifications </h2>\n<p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: </strong>Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities for this Position</h2>\n<p>The Information Assurance Engineer supports the system security design effort, security requirements analysis, and security requirements flow down to the program element. The role involves executing security testing, developing security documentation, and participating in Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities to ensure the correct implementation of security requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>• Proficient use and understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories</p>\n<p>• Proficient understanding of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs and other government security specifications and guidelines</p>\n<p>• Proficient knowledge of cyber security technology and trends</p>\n<p>• Contributes to the achievement of business objectives</p>\n<p>• Recognizes and incorporates various security designs and lessons learned</p>\n<p>• Strong written and verbal communications skills</p>\n<p>• Able to sell concepts and ideas</p>\n<p>• Proficient ability in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions as they affect the cyber design and implementation</p>\n<p>• Proficient ability to clearly report relevant cyber systems engineering design</p>\n<p>• Regular contact with senior levels of internal security work groups</p>\n<p>• Ability to participate in or lead security work groups</p>\n<p>• Works under limited direction</p>\n<p>• Contact with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teams</p>\n<p>• Maintains contact with the external customers’ security professionals</p>\n<p>• Creative thinker, good multi-tasker</p>\n<p>• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications</p>\n<p>• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance</p>\n<p>• Must be have an IAM Certification (i.e., CGRC, CISM, CISSP, Security+)</p>\n<p> • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation</p>\n<h2>Salary Note</h2>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
