    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Field Superintendent – Construction (State College)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p>Inch&amp;Co. Construction is a growing company with a diverse pipeline across construction, land development, and property management. Our team is focused on building efficiently, solving problems, and delivering quality projects.</p>\n<p>We’re looking for a hands-on, accountable Field Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on our construction sites. This role is responsible for managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, ensuring quality, and driving projects safely to completion.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will be someone who takes ownership in the field, communicates clearly, and keeps projects moving without constant oversight.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through turnover, buildings, sitework, utilities, etc.</li>\n<li>Manage, schedule and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and per plans/specs.</li>\n<li>Maintain and drive the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.</li>\n<li>Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety.</li>\n<li>Identify and proactively resolve issues before they impact schedule or budget.</li>\n<li>Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project requirements.</li>\n<li>Coordinate inspections and ensure readiness for key milestones.</li>\n<li>Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.</li>\n<li>Produce, update, and distribute a 3-wk schedule.</li>\n<li>Communicate daily updates, progress, and issues to the Project Manager.</li>\n<li>Enforce jobsite safety requirements and company policies.</li>\n<li>Assist in project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experiences Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a Superintendent in multi-family and commercial construction.</li>\n<li>Experience working on projects with multiple buildings or phased turnover.</li>\n<li>Strong ability to manage multiple trades and keep projects on track.</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of construction sequencing, plans, and specifications.</li>\n<li>Ability to read drawings and identify conflicts or issues early.</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills: direct, clear, and solution-oriented.</li>\n<li>High level of accountability and ownership in the field.</li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts.</li>\n<li>OSHA knowledge and commitment to jobsite safety.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>General familiarity with Bluebeam software, Microsoft Office, etc.</li>\n<li>Experience managing projects from sitework through full building turnover</li>\n<li>Familiarity with local municipalities, inspection processes, and C of O processes.</li>\n<li>Ability to assist in short-term lookahead scheduling and sequencing planning.</li>\n<li>Experience working closely with Project Managers and understanding division of responsibilities.</li>\n<li>Experience coordinating with utility companies and handling site logistics.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of quality control processes and punch list management.</li>\n<li>Experience on projects with tight schedules and high turnover demands.</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of budgeting impacts (how field decisions affect cost).</li>\n</ul>",
