We are a TAP school!</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>REPORTS TO/TERM</strong></u><strong>:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Principal</p><p>Full Time 10-month position</p><p><br><u><strong>ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:</strong></u>&nbsp;</p><p><em><strong>Classroom Assistants are required to perform the following duties:</strong></em></p><ul><li>Work collaboratively and harmoniously with Lead Classroom Teacher</li><li>Support established classroom rules and protocol&nbsp;</li><li>Motivate and support students in reaching high levels of academic success</li><li>Create a positive student culture around online learning and small group tutoring</li><li>Maintain high behavioral expectations for all students</li><li>Interpret, manage, and utilize multiple sets of data in order to best support student progress</li><li>Perform targeted individual assistance and small group tutoring</li><li>Assist with the creation of individual learning plans for each student enrolled&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain frequent communication with students and their support network regarding academic progress</li><li>Communicate and collaborate with teachers and school administrators</li><li>Participate in staff development opportunities</li><li>Participate in all relative grade appropriate or requested staff meetings&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure the security of computer equipment and accessories</li><li>Perform other duties, as deemed appropriate, by Lead Classroom Teacher and Principal</li></ul>",
