    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Senior SBA Credit Analyst / Underwriter is responsible for evaluating and underwriting SBA loan applications in accordance with the SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Ready Capital&rsquo;s credit policy. This role requires advanced credit analysis capabilities, strong technical writing, and effective communication skills to support sound credit decisions and ensure compliance with SBA guidelines.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong>Credit Analysis &amp; Underwriting</strong><ul style=\"font-weight: initial;\"><li>Conduct thorough financial analysis of business and personal financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections.</li><li>Assess borrower creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and collateral adequacy.</li><li>Prepare a detailed credit memo with well-supported recommendations.</li></ul></li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong>SBA SOP Compliance</strong><ul style=\"font-weight: initial;\"><li>Ensure all underwriting activities align with current SBA SOP requirements.</li><li>Stay updated on changes to SBA policies and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with RCL&rsquo;s closing teams to ensure documentation accuracy.</li></ul></li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong>Technical Writing</strong><ul style=\"font-weight: initial;\"><li>Draft clear, concise, and comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments.</li><li>Document underwriting decisions and rationale in a professional and audit-ready format.</li></ul></li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong>Communication &amp; Collaboration</strong><ul style=\"font-weight: initial;\"><li>Present credit findings to loan committees and senior management.</li><li>Communicate effectively with BDOs, borrowers, internal customers and third-party professionals to gather necessary information.</li><li>Provide mentorship and guidance to junior underwriters as needed.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field &nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in SBA credit analysis&nbsp;</li><li>Deep understanding of SBA 7(a) programs and SOP requirements.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a high volume environment</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
