This job is performed to standard when all work is completed accurately and on time, with minimal supervision.</p><h2>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</h2><p>· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.</p><p>· Prepares and maintains field/gym/class area before and after program; organizes, sets up and puts away class equipment; reports damaged equipment</p><p>· Officiates sport/activity matches and games as scheduled</p><p>· Leads energizing, fun, safe and educational classes/practices/games, as directed by the coordinator, to accomplish the YMCA mission and goals</p><p>· Ability to process, understand and respond appropriately to emergency situations</p><p>· Track participation, distribute program evaluations/customer surveys to improve quality of program and retention of participants</p><p>· Assist in parties and special events as needed</p><p>· Creates lessons plans/curriculum for review and substitution needs</p><p>· Maintain quality service by following organization standards</p><p>· Maintain facilities and equipment in safe working order</p><p>· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</p><p>· Perform any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the River Valley Regional YMCA</p>",
