Lunar Outpost is dedicated to creating a permanent presence in space, while also driving positive impacts here on Earth. </span><span>We are </span><span>currently</span><span> </span><span>seeking </span><span>a</span><span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior </span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Flight Vehicle Systems Engineer </span><span>to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment</span><span>. </span></span></p>\n<p><span><span>As </span><span>a </span><span>Flight </span><span>Vehicle </span><span>Systems Engineer,</span><span> </span><span>you will </span><span>be responsible for</span><span> </span><span>supporting the design, integration, and verification of NASA’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle. </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Work with subsystem leads to assess design against technical performance measures (TPMs) to ensure healthy design margins</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Manage technical budgets, including mass, power, interface utilization, and others</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Lead development of select cross-cutting vehicle designs in collaboration with subsystem leads</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Develop and maintain internal and external interface control documents (ICDs)</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Participate in the creation of analysis plans and test plans in accordance with verification and validation methodologies, and support documentation of test events and traceability back to requirements</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Perform system-level modeling and analysis to optimize design performance, reliability, and safety</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with management of engineering documentation, including Master Equipment Lists, BOMs, Design Data Books, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure design and process compliance with applicable NASA standards</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with NASA Insight members in recurring working group sessions</span><span><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering or related discipline</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering </span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems, including flight hardware and flight software</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrated experience in requirements management, interface control, and verification planning</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering practices and tools, like Cameo </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Experience using requirements management tools like DOORS or Jama </span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent organization and time management skills</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent written and oral communication skills</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>U.S. Person</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Experience with Class A spaceflight missions, human space flight, or human-rated vehicle development</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Prior experience with ITAR/EAR compliance documentation and handling export-controlled technical data</span><span><br></span></li>\n<li><span>Previous experience in mission operations, integration, and test campaign design and execution</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation &amp;
