Stewards play a crucial role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the shift. This is a great entry point into the culinary world with opportunities to grow and learn alongside a professional kitchen team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Clean and sanitize all kitchen dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware efficiently and thoroughly.</li><li>Ensure all items are properly organized and stored in designated areas.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, including dish machines, floors, walls, and sinks.</li><li>Take out trash, recycling, and compost; clean bins as needed.</li><li>Assist with basic kitchen prep or maintenance tasks as requested by the chef team.</li><li>Follow all safety and sanitation standards and comply with health department regulations.</li><li>Work as a team player to support smooth kitchen operations during and after service.</li><li>Alert management to any equipment issues or safety concerns</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.</li><li>Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.</li><li>Previous kitchen or restaurant experience a plus, but not required</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to regularly perform motions such as lifting, pushing and pulling, bending</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About Gravity Haus</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Gravity Haus is a community-driven adventure lifestyle brand with hotels, restaurants, and experiences that empower a modern way of travel.
