With a focus on reliability, performance, and environmental stewardship, Smardt continues to redefine industry standards through advanced engineering and a commitment to a more sustainable future.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We're Looking For:<br></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Mechanical Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to HVAC and Chiller specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This hire will be required to travel to Montreal, Canada for approximately 4 weeks of training, provided by Smardt.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Keeps daily assembly production records.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Maintains a clean and organized work environment.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Willingness to learn brazing techniques required to weld the joints of copper mechanical parts.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Other duties as required. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Bring:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>3+ years mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Mechanical aptitude a must.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Previous brazing/welding experience is an asset.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions:</span><br>The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
