We provide an essential service testing fire equipment for fire departments at their locations.</p><p>This is an <strong>entry level position</strong> with no previous experience required. All training will be done on site. Starting hourly rate is <strong>$15.50/hour</strong>. Meals and lodging are covered by the company when traveling out of state. <u><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(44, 130, 201); font-size: 16px;\">The team meets in&nbsp;</span></strong></u><span style=\"color: rgb(44, 130, 201);\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><u>Elizabeth City, NC</u>.</span><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Test and inspect every inch of fire hose by:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Removing all hose from fire apparatus and racks</li><li>Performing required recordings and tests</li><li>Repacking hoses to the proper place</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Reliable transportation to work</li><li>Be able to pass a drug test and background check</li><li>Hard working and very dependable</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work is Monday-Friday: leave Monday morning and return Friday evening with the majority of work being out of state.</li><li>Meet at a central location on Monday morning and travel in company vehicles. Drop off Friday evening at same location.</li><li>Meals and lodging covered by the company when traveling out of state.</li><li>Typical week consists of 40-60 hours</li><li>Occasional work day can be 12+ hours</li><li>Shift is not over until job is completed</li><li>Work boots required and work shirts supplied by company.</li><li>Will work in the rain.
