The Utility position is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Washes dishes or pans by hand or dish machine.</li><li>Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and equipment</li><li>Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.</li><li>Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.</li><li>May unload grocery deliveries or transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.</li><li>Cleans equipment and facilities using specific chemicals ensuring safety &amp; sanitary standards.</li><li>Complies with all HACCP and safety policies and procedures.</li><li>May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Previous experience in a utility or maintenance role is a plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects</li><li>Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices</li></ul><p>We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.</p>",
