    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian <strong>Nurse Practitioner - Perioperative/Patient Care Coordinator</strong> - at<strong> Naval Medical Center San Diego </strong>in<strong> California.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Outstanding work/life balance: Services Shall be provided Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0630 – 1500 hours </li>\n <li> 8-hour Shifts with 30-minute lunch break.   </li>\n <li>Outpatient & Inpatient Environment </li>\n <li>Employee status with a full complement of benefits </li>\n <li>Opportunity to give back & care for our Nation's heroes | Compliant and appreciative patient population</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of advanced practice provider experience, including at least 3 years in a surgical or procedural subspecialty (e.g., maxillofacial surgery, ENT, plastic surgery, trauma, head and neck oncology preferred)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience managing complex perioperative patients in inpatient and outpatient settings</li>\n <li>Experience coordinating care for multidisciplinary and high-acuity patient populations</li>\n <li>Proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies and prescribing medications per institutional policy Leadership & Operational Skills</li>\n <li>Experience in care coordination, case management, or clinical program support</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.</li>\n <li>Experience overseeing or mentoring clinical support staff and contributing to efficient clinic operations.</li>\n <li>Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). </li>\n <li>Licensure: Possess a current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in any U.S. jurisdiction. </li>\n <li>DEA registration & BLS certification  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>For More Information Contact:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Joseph Day</strong></p>\n<p>Recruiter</p>\n<p>Direct: (314) 744-4138</p>\n<p>424 S Woods Mill Rd | Suite 205 | Town & Country, MO 63017</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Company Overview:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Spectrum, we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
