Ensure safety of employees and quality of the product.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop, lead, train, and discipline all employees within department.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance in safety, environment, and personnel issues that may arise.</li>\n <li>Manage inventory on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.</li>\n <li>Achieve established goals for labor, uptime, quality, and safety.</li>\n <li>Ensure product is consistent with customer specifications.</li>\n <li>Confirm quality and recovery. Maintain accurate inventory.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with and understand margin reports.</li>\n <li>All other tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Ferrous and non-ferrous metals.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and motivate others.</li>\n <li>Understanding and adherence to safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50lbs or more as required.</li>\n <li>Minimum of five years supervisory or lead experience in an industrial setting.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Environmental best management practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
