    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assisting in the fabrication and integration of C4ISR systems into multiple variants of ship vessels (Navy & MSC) to include: LHA, LPD, LCU, & TATS class ships</li>\n <li>Assisting technical staff members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits</li>\n <li>Providing feedback to production management and QA with identified issues/defects in design or during the fabrication/integration phase with regards to cables or equipment racks</li>\n <li>Performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental United States within various environments to include Naval Bases and privately owned shipyards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>#LI-LH1</em></p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma/GED</li>\n <li>5-8 years of direct work experience, minimum of a two-year technical degree and 3-6 years of related work experience equivalent combination of education and experience should add up to 5-8 years </li>\n <li>Shipboard Electronic Systems installation</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using cable fabrication hand tools to include but not limited to: Heat Guns, Hand Soldering Stations, and various crimp tools</li>\n <li>Cable Fabrication assembly experience with the following types of cables: RF (Coaxial & Heliax), Cat 5/6, & Multi-pin MIL-STD Connectors</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics in order to execute installation of electronic equipment, mounting brackets/install kits within a communication rack, and build/fabricate cable assemblies</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>LHA or LPD shipboard C4ISR Systems installation experience</li>\n <li>NAVSEA Cableway training</li>\n <li>Navy \"A\" or \"C\" School</li>\n <li>Fiber Optic Termination, Test, Handling, and QA/Supervision Certification IAW NAVSEA 8477552 Rev C MIL-STD-2042C</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL</strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>0-25% Travel Requirements, travel will be upon request or as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
