Job Overview Nikkiso Cryogenic Services is seeking a highly skilled Regional Field Service Engineer to deliver world-class technical support for advanced cryogenic equipment and systems. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for a technically driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and wants to work at the forefront of cryogenic technology. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical expert for customers across your assigned region, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety of cryogenic systems while strengthening Nikkiso’s reputation for excellence in service and innovation. Salary range: $83,381 - $155,579 Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Customer Support Provide expert onsite technical support for installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of cryogenic systems and equipment. Serve as a technical advisor to customers, ensuring optimal system performance and adherence to OEM and industry standards. Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using advanced troubleshooting methods. Minimize system downtime through efficient root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintenance & Repairs Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including inspections, calibration, and component replacement. Respond promptly to customer service requests and execute onsite repairs with precision and professionalism. Training & Knowledge Transfer Deliver technical training to customers on safe operation and maintenance of cryogenic equipment. Promote best practices and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Documentation & Reporting Prepare detailed field service reports, maintain accurate service records, and document equipment history. Communicate findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities to internal teams and customers. Safety & Continuous Improvement Uphold Nikkiso’s safety standards and promote a strong safety culture in the field. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to enhance service delivery.
