          "text": "<p>The Senior Lab Technician performs all standard and non-standard tests related to home and security products. This role operates, maintains and troubleshoots test equipment following written or verbal test instructions, while documenting all testing results. The Senior Lab Technician works with engineers to analyze and interpret data. This role also mentors and trains others as assigned.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Performs all standard and non-standard tests related to home and security products.</li><li>Document all testing results into a standard test report while working with engineers to analyze and interpret data.</li><li>Operates, maintains and troubleshoots test equipment following written or verbal test instructions. Monitors equipment, collects data, and ensures test specimens operate within the defined specifications.</li><li>Independently build new test configurations utilizing preexisting core equipment which can be reconfigured to match testing requirements.</li><li>Maintains a working knowledge of the certification and real-world test requirements for plumbing and security related products.</li><li>Works directly with project engineers and various other team members requiring testing. Provides technical support and service in an independent and timely manner.</li><li>Proficient in the use of hand tools, designs test fixtures and fabricates equipment as required for assigned projects.</li><li>Modifies computer programs required to operate test equipment such as programmable logic controllers.</li><li>Collaborates and partners with other engineering groups on multi-discipline projects.</li><li>Mentors and trains others as assigned.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p>",
