The &nbsp;Production Supervisor will lead team members and organize workflows in complex assembly operations.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Second Shift</strong> (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM CST)&nbsp;</p><p><em>&nbsp;(Overtime and weekends as required)&nbsp;</em></p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><em>This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.</em></p><ul><li>Directly supervises a team of 20-30+ production associates to ensure they consistently meet performance metrics and achieve production goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Occasionally steps in to assist the line by assembling product, and covering for breaks and absent associates.</li><li>Evaluates team and individual performance via consistent coaching and performance reviews to make recommendations for staffing, pay increases, and promotions.</li><li>Follows policies, exercises ethical judgment, and ensures transparency in identifying, managing, and reporting issues. Supervises others effectively, holding them accountable to maintain these standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products. &nbsp;This includes meeting scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.</li><li>Ensures successful team operations by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Maintains staff by selecting and training team members, then developing personal growth opportunities.</li><li>Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; observing equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; initiating and fostering a “One Whisker” spirit of cooperation within and between departments.</li><li>Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.</li><li>Maintains quality of product by establishing and enforcing organization standards.</li><li>Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.</li><li>Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.</li><li>Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.</li><li>Ensures timecard accuracy for all department team members through the company payroll system.&nbsp;</li><li>Engages in 5S (\"Sort\", \"Set In order\", \"Shine\", \"Standardize\" and \"Sustain”) activities.</li><li>Performs additional responsibilities when required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u><strong>Leadership Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></u></p><p>Directly supervises department Teams.
