    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Responsible for enforcing pool safety rules in all pool areas.  Primary responsibility is the maintenance and cleanliness of pool and deck areas. Able to understand and react to emergency response procedures; monitors safety and security of all pool users and responsible for reporting and documenting any safety or accident concerns.</p>\n<p>The Deck or Pool Attendant also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group.  He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service as it relates to this function. This includes working interdepartmentally, as well as, with our external customers.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Maintains cleanliness of pool area by clean-up of poolside trash and alignment of chairs/lounges.</li>\n <li>Maintain neat and clean pool area and water at all times and perform everyday vacuuming and cleaning of pool.</li>\n <li>Ensure neat and clean restroom.</li>\n <li>Performs various chemical tests as per requirement.</li>\n <li>Assists in resolving complaints/issues related to the pool/jacuzzi areas.</li>\n <li> Monitor inventory of all pool tools.</li>\n <li>Manage drop off and pick up of towels from laundry.</li>\n <li>Helps maintain a pleasant environment for the enjoyment of the property owners and their guests.</li>\n <li>Ensures all safety precautions and procedures are followed while performing duties.</li>\n <li>May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:</strong>        </p>\n<p>High school diploma or equivalency preferred. May require Certified Pool Operator certification.</p>\n<p>May require CPR and/or Lifeguard certification.</p>\n<p><strong>Experience/Knowledge/Skills:</strong>  </p>\n<p>One (1) to Two (2) years of related work experience. Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.</p>\n<p><strong>Computer literacy:</strong></p>\n<p>Intermediate command of computer hardware/software is required; specifically, knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.    Experience in maintaining a website is desired</p>\n<p><strong>Language requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>Bilingual preferred but not required.</p>\n<p><strong>Travel and availability requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>May be required to travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis.  May be occasionally required to cover for site staff when needed. </p>\n<p>Ability to work extended hours and weekends. Ability to respond to emergencies in a prompt and responsible manner.</p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.; work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time, may fluctuate. May handle, grasp and lift objects and packages. Reach with hands and arms, communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information.</p>\n<p>Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions; complete all required forms.</p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
