Visit our website to learn more!</p><p><strong>Who will you be working with?</strong></p><p>You'll&#xa0;be joining Wabtec Bus Solutions, a team driving innovation in Transit Bus &amp; Rail systems, including passenger door systems, wheelchair lifts &amp; ramps, e-Bus charging systems, driver’s protective barriers, and more. We blend technical&#xa0;expertise&#xa0;with deep product knowledge to deliver high-impact solutions for our customers and communities.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>How will you make a difference?</strong>&#xa0;</p><p>As a Test Engineering Technician II, you will support the test engineering team by performing hands-on testing&#xa0;on electromechanical assemblies, subsystems or parts,&#xa0;assisting&#xa0;with test&#xa0;setup&#xa0;and troubleshooting, and&#xa0;maintaining&#xa0;laboratory equipment and workspaces. Reporting to the Engineering Manager or Supervisor, you will contribute to&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;and efficient&#xa0;design verification&#xa0;activities while working closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>What do we want to know about you?</strong></p><p>· Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).</p><p>· 2+&#xa0;years of relevant experience in electromechanical testing or a related field.</p><p>· Basic&#xa0;hands-on skills with mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and test setups.&#xa0;</p><p>· Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, calipers, pressure gauges.</p><p>· Experience in electromechanical testing and troubleshooting&#xa0;and basic&#xa0;troubleshooting ability and judgment in a lab or prototype environment.</p><p>· Exposure to DC motors, relays, basic control systems&#xa0;and basic&#xa0;proficiency&#xa0;in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook).</p><p><strong>What will your typical day look like?</strong></p><p>· Assist&#xa0;engineers with verification testing.</p><p>· Execute functional and performance tests by procedures.</p><p>· Assist&#xa0;or lead&#xa0;troubleshooting electromechanical systems.</p><p>· Support&#xa0;RMA (returned&#xa0;product)&#xa0;evaluations by collecting data and documenting findings.</p><p>· Follow guidance of Test Engineers help build&#xa0;&amp;&#xa0;maintain&#xa0;test fixtures.</p><p>· Maintain lab equipment and workspace organized&#xa0;and follow safety procedures.&#xa0;</p><p>· Occasionally supports production issues.</p><p>You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.</p><p>Wabtec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this opening.
