You don’t wait for direction. font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Own and lead the organisation’s cloud and infrastructure strategy across Azure and AWS.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Take full responsibility for the design, implementation, and operation of all cloud infrastructure.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assess the current cloud and infrastructure landscape and drive immediate improvements where required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Design and maintain highly available, secure, and resilient systems, including DR and failover strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Own cloud security posture, including identity, access controls, network security, and platform hardening.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across all environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Drive cost optimisation initiatives and ensure cloud spend is well understood, controlled, and efficient.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure operational excellence through documentation, runbooks, and clear ownership models.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Partner closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and compliance teams to enable scalable delivery.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Act as the final authority on cloud and infrastructure decisions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues and lead root-cause analysis efforts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure environments meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Stay current with cloud platform advancements and continuously evolve the infrastructure strategy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Mentor and uplift engineers on cloud best practices, architecture, and operational maturity.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform engineering roles.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong production experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, storage, and identity.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Solid hands-on experience with AWS and multi-cloud architecture principles.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proven experience designing and operating cloud platforms at scale.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong Infrastructure as Code experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with container platforms and modern cloud-native architectures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Deep understanding of cloud security principles and shared responsibility models.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong understanding of reliability, scalability, and performance engineering.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently and take ownership from day one.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience operating in regulated or high-trust environments is highly advantageous.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Cloud certifications are beneficial but not a substitute for real-world experience.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
